Leaves in the aspens, cottonwoods, and oak trees changed color late in Yosemite this year. My trip in the second week in November saw a profusion of yellow, orange, and even a bit of red around Yosemite Valley, and while I was expecting to spend my time photographing bare branches and carpets of faded leaves, instead I was drawn, irresistibly, to the colorful displays in the trees.
